Lauren is a registered Social Services Worker (SSW) with her Bachelors of Applied Science and Social Service Workers diploma from the University of Guelph-Humber. She is currently attending the University of Windsor completing her Masters of Social Work (MSW) degree.
Lauren has worked with children aged 0-18 years old and has experience with supporting caregivers through a trauma informed, attachment based framework. Lauren is passionate about working with children and families in the areas of trauma, school based concerns, anxiety, family dynamics, and transitions. Lauren is also a Circle of Security facilitator and is knowledgeable in attachment theory.
Lauren believes it is important for children to have secure and healthy relationships with supportive adults in their lives. She strives to support caregivers with understanding the importance of meeting and responding to children’s physical and emotional needs.
