Kerry is a Registered Social Worker with a Master of Social Work degree from Wilfrid Laurier University. She has worked for over 30 years with children, adults, and families in a variety of settings. Currently, Kerry works in the education sector supporting the mental health and well-being of students and school communities. Kerry specializes in working with individuals with anxiety and depression, addiction, trauma, ODD, ADD/ADHD, autism, grief and loss, anticipatory grief, as well as suicidal ideation. Kerry believes that relationship is the key to any successful therapy. She is passionate and non-judgemental. Kerry works from a strength based perspective that blends CBT, DBT, narrative and other evidence based approaches. She believes that in order to address unwanted behaviors we need to understand them and then search for healthy strategies to cope. Kerry encourages those she works with to discover their strengths and build on them while trying to find balance and positivity.
